Home Remedies: Reversing Hair loss in women

1. Mustard Oil:

Boil one cup of mustard oil. Add four table spoons of henna leaves to it. When cooled, massage it daily onto the balding areas. This works wonders at reversing hair loss.

2. Castor Oil:

Castor oil is a natural immune booster. It prevents the hair follicles from losing strength and helps rejuvenate hair growth. It works perfectly on curly hair. The oil needs to be gently rubbed on the hair and temple areas. Practice this twice a week for 4 months. You will see a noticeable change in hair volume.

Surgical Methods:

3. The Gardson Method:

M.Gardson’s method of hair re-growth is popular and has proved successful in the past. When hair follicles go dormant, the hair roots get weaker and we begin to lose hair. The dormant follicles stop growing, so the hair begins to start thinning and baldness appears. This method helps to awaken the dormant hair follicles to stimulate hair growth.

4. Insulin Treatment:

Insulin hinders hair growth. Hyperinsulemia is a symptom of insulin resistance caused by a carbohydrate rich diet. A balanced diet and proper exercise regimen can help solve this problem. Daily workout, especially cardio, stimulates hair growth.

5. Anagrow Treatment:

Richfeel’s Anagrow treatment is quite a breakthrough in the hair industry. A product called PCT Rejuva Max extract is inserted into the hair follicles using a machine. This extract helps fight the thinning of hair and stimulate hair re-growth.

6. Clinical Re-growth:

In a study, a group of scientists collected dermal papillae from different donors and cloned them in a tissue culture. Dermal papillae are the cells inside the base of human hair follicles. After a stipulated time period, the cells are transplanted onto human skin. This results in new hair growth within six weeks. “If it works in humans, it actually opens up the possibility of hair restoration for many more patients than are currently available,” study co-leader Angela Christiano, a dermatology professor at Columbia University Medical Center, told NBC News.

7. Drugs and Medications:

Drugs like Minoxidil are used for the crown of the head rather than the sides and front. Hair loss drugs like Minoxidil and Finasteride help retain hair effectively with almost no side effects.

8. DHT Blockers:

DHT Blockers are also an effective treatment for hair re-growth. DHT is a substance that binds to hair follicles, thus preventing hair growth. DHT Blockers decrease the amount of DHT on the scalp and help stimulate hair follicles. It is advisable to consult with the dermatologist before undertaking the treatment.
